Minature world, made by hand

OWS Terrariums

Hand-assembed terrariums

Living, sustaining ecosystems, created with plants, glass and a lot of love

Handmade living eco-systems

What we make

Bring a little bit of nature indoors.

At OWS Terrariums, we create miniature living landscapes from carefully selected plants, natural materials and beautiful glassware.

Every terrarium is planted by hand, giving each one its own character. Whether you're looking for something for your desk, a gift for someone special, or simply a little more green in your home — there's an OWS for you.

Small spaces. Big character. Living design

By balancing humidity and microbial drainage, our micro-ecosystems prevent root moisture rot and require minimal manual intervention over months.

Registered. Insured. Plant compliant.

We take the responsibility of selling plants seriously. OWS Terrariums is a registered and insured business, with our plant activities registered with APHA (Animal and Plant Health Agency) and operated in accordance with applicable DEFRA plant health and plant passport requirements.

This means you can buy from OWS knowing that our plants are sourced, recorded and managed responsibly, with plant health and traceability built into the way we work.

We're proud to combine the creativity of handmade terrariums with the standards you'd expect from a professional plant business.

Made by hand. Made in Liverpool. Proudly LGBTQ+ owned. 🌈🌿

OWS Terrariums - more than plants in a jar

A little bit about OWS

Plants, glass & tiny worlds.

OWS Terrariums started with a simple love of plants and the idea that you don't need a huge garden to enjoy them.

We create miniature ecosystems that bring greenery into everyday spaces — from tiny desktop jars to statement terrariums.

Each piece is made with care, using plants and materials selected to work together both visually and practically.

Made by hand. Made in Liverpool. Made to be enjoyed.
